Welcome to Youth Ministries

We meet each Tuesday (Sr. High) and Wednesday (Jr. High) to engage in meaningful relationships through worship, biblical teaching, small groups, and various activities. A big focus of our ministry is building community through small groups. We do this through placing each one of our students in a small group with kids who are of the same gender and similar age from the first week that they start attending Sherwood Park Alliance Youth. Another focus for our ministry is unleashing compassion which we do through a variety of service initiatives at every level of our ministry. We also focus on following Jesus through diving into His word on a weekly basis with our students. We strive to maintain exciting and dynamic environments for students to be themselves while they develop their walk with God and discover what a relationship with Him really looks like.

Vision-Who We Aspire to Be

SPAC Youth's vision is that every teenager in the Capital Region would collide with God's Kingdom.

SPAC Youth exists to lead teenagers towards a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and an increasing commitment to His mission. Hope to see you soon!

Events

Throughout the year, we have events that are above and beyond a normal youth night.

Recalibrate

Every few months, we join our Onsite and our Offsite students together for a night focused on our core values: Following Jesus, Building Community, and Unleashing Compassion. These nights give our students a greater sense of community and helps us refocus our group as a whole. It also allows us to hear stories of what God has been doing at SPAC Youth throughout the year. For part of the night, we separate our Onsite and Offsite groups. This allows us to create more focused teaching for each of these groups. For example, we use these nights as an opportunity to launch a new curriculum series for the houses.
