Meet the Lead Pastor

Pastor Jeremy Cook has been the Lead Pastor of Sherwood Park Alliance Church (SPAC) since 2024 but has served in various roles on staff for almost two decades. Before becoming Lead Pastor, Jeremy left SPAC briefly while he served as Assistant District Superintendent of the Midwest District of The Alliance Canada, where he focused on New Ventures and Missions Mobilization.

As a third-generation Alliance Pastor, ministry runs in Jeremy’s family. His connection to The Alliance Canada is deeply personal, with many family members having served within the church.

Jeremy and his wife, Heather, are proud parents of two children who attend Strathcona Christian Academy (SCA).

Jeremy loves working with the staff team to lead and serve this community with a heart for God's mission and a vision for the future, together. Click on the video to hear from Pastor Jeremy.

FAQS

We have three identical services each weekend: Saturday night at 6pm and Sunday mornings at 9am and 11am. When you walk in, you'll be greeted by a member of our hosting team who can answer any questions you might have. You'll have the chance to grab a specialty drink or free drip coffee from our café, check your kids into kids ministry, or connect with a friend. Once you've made your way into the Auditorium you'll experience worship through music, prayer, and teaching from the Bible. Our services are roughly 65 minutes in length.

We offer programming during all our weekend services for kids from Nursery to Grade 6 where they will have the opportunity to connect with each other, learn about Jesus, and have tons of fun! Nursery to Grade 2 kids can be checked in 15 minutes before the start of the service. Grade 3-6 kids will join the service in the Auditorium for the first portion along with their parent or guardian and will be dismissed after the worship songs are over. Kids ministry leaders will be ready at the back of the room to lead kids to their classrooms for the remainder of the service.

If you have questions when you arrive, look for our Kids Ministry booth in the Atrium. A member of our Kids team will be happy to assist you!

Visit our Kids page for any other information you might be looking for.

Depending on the age group, we meet either Tuesday or Wednesday to engage in meaningful relationships through worship, biblical teaching, small groups, and various activities. Visit our Youth page for more information.

If you have a prayer request, please fill out a prayer request form, and someone from our prayer team will pray for you this week.

When we re-orient our lives around living and loving like Jesus, we are made new. Baptism is a celebration of this commitment and a time to share how God is transforming us. To learn more about why baptism is one of the most meaningful next steps for everyone who chooses this way of life, check out the baptism brochure.  If you have decided that baptism is your next step in your faith journey, complete the baptism registration to participate in the next baptism services.
