Extraordinary Nobodies: Balaam

Hello church family!

Happy first full week of July! I hope you have some space and time to rest and recreate in this season, whether travelling or staying home to enjoy the beautiful Northern Alberta summer! A sacred rhythm – given to us by the Lord and even practiced by him, is sabbath. And for many, summer affords us the opportunity to slow down, reset, and recharge after a busy year. So soak it up and enjoy this gift from our Father!
I am looking forward to being with you again this weekend! If you’d like to read ahead for this weekend's message, I will be in Numbers 22-24. That’s right, the Donkey story. This weekend as we continue our series on the Extraordinary Nobodies, we will be camping in the story of Balaam – the Seer for hire, who was asked to curse the people of Israel by her enemy. It’s as good of a story as any, one that young Israelite kids would have begged their parents to tell them over and over again.
I hope you can join us!
