About This Series

A Fisherman's Story

February 2022 - April 2022

In the decades after Jesus’ death and resurrection the Apostle Peter dedicated himself to passionately describing his time with Jesus. Near the end of his life, possibly from prison, Peter longed to have his stories documented and preserved, so he asked a companion, Mark, to write it all down.

A Fisherman’s Story is a big-picture survey of the Gospel of Mark where we recap Peter’s experiences, the ones which led him to believe in a life-altering idea: the Kingdom of God is near, and everyone is invited to participate.
