The Most Important Part

Hi everyone!

Dropping into your inbox once more on a Friday, and as always, hoping and praying that God’s presence and guidance is your reality. Most of my contributions in this space have been designed to encourage participation in our weekend gatherings, and I’m not moving off that posture today! I’m going to wind up our series on The B-I-B-L-E- this weekend, and my starting point will be the most important event in human history: the foundational event which shapes our faith and reverberates generations later, with my ending point will be to summarize the entire storyline of the Bible in about 22 minutes!

You read that correctly—I’m going to describe the essence of the biblical narrative, the whole enchilada, in 22 minutes. Time me. I’d be delighted if you’d participate either online or in person this weekend! Your in-person options include 7 pm on Saturday, or 9 am or 11 am on Sunday. You can also watch on demand later on YouTube or our website.

Before you scroll any further, one more nod to what’s on tap this weekend: We’re saying farewell to Executive Pastor, Wayne Regehr. Wayne has played a vital leadership role in our church and on our staff for nearly seven years. Wayne has accepted a new challenge in Calgary, as Director of Operations for The Alliance Canada, Western Canadian District. If you’d like to participate in a financial gift for Wayne & Jan, please do that here.

God bless and keep you,

Greg Hochhalter
Lead Pastor

If you are new to this community and would like to meet others and some of the pastoral team, we would love to meet you!

On January 30th after the 11 am service, we will meet IN PERSON. Since we aren't able to eat together, you will be given a Nitza's Pizza coupon for you to enjoy at another time.

Registration is required for either event and you can do so by heading to spac.ca/pizzawiththepastor.

On January 29th and 30th, immediately after each service, we want to invite you to our Life Groups Open House. It will be hosted in the atrium where we want to help you journey deeper into community. Registration is not required.
