Merry Christmas Church Family… Or, at least – happy December! We’ve turned the corner, and Christmas will be upon us in only four weeks! And you know what that means? This weekend, we kick off our advent season – and our advent series. Over the next four weekends, we are going to anticipate the arrival of Jesus here in our world with the help of some Art. We are calling it “The Art of Advent”. It’s an opportunity for us to exercise both halves of our brains as we wrestle with ancient truths while also being led through illustration – by some very worshipful art – that will help tie the season together for us. I am looking forward to being with you this weekend as we begin with “The Invitation.” I’m not going to reveal the Art Piece for this weekend, so you will need to make sure to Join us in person or online to see what it is we are up to! I’d also like to remind you that we will be celebrating Sunday Morning with our Treehouse Preschool families as they lead us in their Christmas Production. And one last thing to perhaps entice you – we’ve got a gymnasium that will be full of live animals this weekend, as our Kids Ministry team is bringing us our annual live nativity.
