Hello Church Family,I’m writing to you this morning from Abbotsford. Lorne and I are here for a memorial service for a member of his extended family. As I give the message at the memorial today, I’m starting with this quote Let us be grateful for the friends who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. I chose it because his aunt truly was a person that made others happy and tended to them in such a caring way. This weekend in our teaching series, our Extraordinary Nobody is also that kind of person. I’m looking forward to bringing a message from the book of Acts about a woman named Tabitha. I hope you can join us in person or online. However these summer months are unfolding for you, I pray you are finding time to listen to the voice of the Gardener who best knows how to make your soul blossom.Grace and peace, Rita Penner | Care PastorCelebration of Life for Colette Baudais It is with sadness that we share the news of Colette's passing on July 20, 2023, after a 14 month battle with cancer. For those of you who do not know of Colette, she was an International Worker with The Christian and Missionary Alliance for many years, serving in West Africa.
