Happy Canada Weekend!I hope you enjoy the weather this weekend and take in the celebrations in and around the county. But on Saturday night (before you head off to find some fireworks), we are gathering for church (and Sunday as well!), and we would love to have you join us. We will be in week number 2 of our Extraordinary Nobodies series, and this weekend we are taking in the story of Josiah, as recorded in the book of 2 Kings. Josiah was eight years old when he was made a king – which, side note, my seven and nine year old still won't even brush their teeth or hair without being reminded by us! It is a story of reformation, as Josiah inherits the kingdom in disarray and, upon discovering the scroll of Deuteronomy, is deeply compelled to lead the people of Israel back to the heart of the Father. If you want to read ahead, go to 2 Kings 22-23.Looking forward to being with each of you this weekend!
