Hi Friends,Quick question. Is there anything worrying you today? Anything you’re feeling uneasy about? I’d have to answer yes---for me there’s quite a few things on the list. As we continue our Deeply Rooted series in Matthew 6:19-34 - Jesus is going to teach us what to do with our worries. He’ll show us how to live lives that aren’t controlled by worry and fear. I can’t wait to share this message with you.Speaking of our concerns you may have noticed in the services the past few weeks that we have a new way you can share prayer requests with our confidential, trained prayer team members. It’s through the Text-to-Pray number. Scripture teaches us, in Galatians 6:2 to bear one another’s burdens and prayer is a great way to do that. If there’s a need in your life why not share it this weekend. It could be as simple as ---please pray about my work situation----please pray as I try to be Salt and Light in my family----please pray for me as I struggle with fear of the future. You can also submit prayer requests anytime through our website.One more thing--- We want to honor each of you who is serving or has served in our Canadian Armed Forces. We are grateful for your service and for the freedoms we enjoy.
