Ashten Forsberg

After a brief stint studying the mysteries of the universe (yes, astrophysics!), Ashten decided to trade stars for scripture. She completed a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies at Briercrest College—with a minor in ancient languages (a detail she always includes because it involved a lot of late nights and flashcards). Her love for the Bible began during her gap year in the Kaléo program, where scripture came alive for the first time. That spark soon turned into a full-blown passion and she has not looked back since. Currently, she is diving even deeper into her studies through a Master of Arts in Biblical Languages and Exegesis—because apparently she just cannot get enough Hebrew flashcards. Ashten joined the SPAC team in the summer of 2025 and brings her infectious passion, curiosity, and the unshakable belief that the gospel really is good news. When she is not wrangling teens or planning youth events, you will likely find her hiking up a mountain, wakesurfing, or basking in the glow of a campfire (preferably with s’mores and surrounded by the people she loves). She also enjoys devouring a good book, outwitting her husband in board games (or so she claims), and finding new ways to stay active. Basically, if it involves people, purpose, or the great outdoors—Ashten is in.
