Wise Words

Hi Friends!

I’m taking a quick break from message prep (I’m taking us into chapter 3 in The Wisdom of James this weekend. Check out James 3:8…yikes!) On this Friday I want to use this space to talk all things AGM. ‘AGM’ is an abbreviation for ‘Annual General Meeting’ - always an important gathering for our members and adherents as we reflect on the general health of our church. It’s at our AGM that we mark progress in various ministry areas. We celebrate wins and we grieve some losses. We assess our financial status; elect qualified individuals to the Board of Elders; and pray into our future. It’s a significant gathering and I hope you’ll consider being part of it.

This year’s AGM is scheduled for 7 pm, Monday evening, December 5, in the main auditorium. If you follow this link you’ll be redirected to a landing page where you can access relevant documents to get you more informed including the meeting agenda, our audited financial statements, past minutes, and the report of the Nominating Committee. And as an added bonus, a little bit more blathering from me about the past year and what you can expect on the 5th. While only participating members may vote, anyone is welcome to attend.

Keep caring for each other,

Greg Hochhalter | Lead Pastor
