Kid's Ministry
Kids Ministries remains paused this weekend, however, we have a safe way to open up cohorts in the classrooms! Starting October 3, we will re-open Kids Ministries for all ages on Sunday mornings only. If you wish your children to attend our October cohort, please register at spac.ca/welcomebackkids. Registration opens Friday, September 24 at 3:30pm.
Pizza with the Pastor
For anyone who may be newer to our church community, we would love to meet you and get to know you better, even during these unusual times! We will be holding a special online version of Pizza with the Pastor on Thursday, September 30.
Sign up at spac.ca/pizzawiththepastor and let us know your favorite kind of pizza, so we can have it delivered to your home for you to enjoy while meeting a couple of the pastors on Zoom!
Millbourne Prayer
Explore how God is calling Sherwood park Alliance to grow His ministry in the Millbourne Community. The morning of Saturday, October 2, will include a prayer walk around Millbourne. We will be praying for the people of the Millbourne community and asking God to prepare the minds and hearts of ourselves, as well as those with whom we will meet, as we begin the community engagement work. Register to attend at spac.ca/millbourne.
Thanksgiving Food Drive
Bring your non-perishable food items to the atrium on Thanksgiving weekend, October 9 and 10. We'll be collecting food for those in need.
This year we're giving all food items collected to our We Care ministry.
Alpha
Alpha is a safe place to discuss, question, and find community. It's open to everyone, from those who are looking for life answers to those who are new in the faith.
Starting Tuesday, October 12 for 10 weeks, Sherwood Park Alliance will be hosting Alpha. Register at spac.ca/groupfinder.
Praying Grandparents
Calling all grandparents! Are you a past, present, or future grandparent of a student who attends Strathcona Christian Academy Elementary or Secondary? We need your prayer support!
This school year, we would like to cover our students, their families, and our staff with prayer. We will be starting our online monthly prayer group on Monday, October 1 at 1:00 pm at our SCA Elementary school.

Serving
As we look towards building new teams for the fall there are many opportunities to get involved. Go to spac.ca/serve to learn more.
We believe that actively serving others brings us closer to God and reminds us to love like he does. Through serving, you'll use the unique ways that God has gifted you to help create welcoming environments where he can change lives.
MEMBERSHIP CLASS
If you believe in what God is doing at Sherwood Park Alliance Church, take your next step — be a part of the team. During this one-hour session, you will learn more about what Sherwood Park Alliance is all about and what it means to be a member.

FAMILY NEWS
KERR - Lillian Kerr went to be with the Lord on September 14, 2021, surrounded by family at the Sherwood Care Centre. Lillian is survived by her husband of 67 years, Ken Kerr, her three children, Karen Seutter, Brian Kerr, Heather Eifler, together with their spouses, her seven grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. Ken along with the Seutter and Eifler families appreciates the love, prayers, and support of our church family during this time.
