COVID Update September 21, 2021

New public health measures came into effect on September 16, which include updated guidelines for places of worship. As we've done throughout each stage of this public health crisis, we will play an active role in protecting people from the spread of COVID; especially the most vulnerable, including children who do not yet have a vaccine available to them as well as unvaccinated students and adults.
We intend to be hospitable and welcoming at our public gatherings while focusing on the well-being of our church family and community. The new measures will not require radical changes in and around the weekend service atmosphere. Masks will continue to remain mandatory, as has been the case since the beginning of September. We have limited the auditorium to 1/3 fire code occupancy, but this is where Sherwood Park Alliance is uniquely privileged. Our spacious auditorium can accommodate roughly 375 people per service while also allowing for 2 meters of physical distancing between households, or 2 close contacts for those living alone.
As you plan to attend services, remember to bring your mask and respect the comfort level of those around you. We'll have extra supplies ready if you forget anything, and our hospitality team will be ready to help you experience a low-stress and safe environment while on our campus.
