If you are interested in registering your child(ren) for Kids' Life Group cohorts, here’s some information about what it will look like! The safety and health of your child(ren) is our utmost priority.
Yes. When you register your child(ren) for Kids' Life Groups, this is a unique opportunity to commit your child(ren) to an 8-week cohort group. They will be intentionally invested by their Life Group leaders and grow in community with their peers, all while having a lot of fun! The cohort group is scheduled to start on Sunday, November 1 and will continue until December 20. You have the option to register for either the 9 am service or the 11 am service (please commit to one service time). In prioritizing the health and safety of your child(ren) we are following the Day Camp Guidelines outlined by Alberta Health Services. A maximum of 50 are permitted per session at either the 9 am or 11 am service. This includes children, volunteers and staff who will be split into three classes.
Kids Life Group programming will be available at the 9 am and 11 am Sunday morning services. Unique programming will be available in separate classrooms for each age group:
Preschool: 3 to 5 years old
Lower Elementary: Kindergarten to Grade 3
Upper Elementary: Grades 4 to 6

In keeping with current Alberta Health Services guidelines, programming for ages 2 and under is unavailable.
  • Kids Ministries volunteers and staff are trained on the latest protocols and practices to ensure children’s programming is done safely and in-line with the latest guidelines outlined by Alberta Health Services.
  • While physical distancing is encouraged, we recognize it is difficult to enforce with children. To maintain health and safety precautions all children, volunteers and staff will be required to wear masks at all times and are encouraged to sanitize their hands often.
  • Throughout and after each session, areas and surfaces will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.
  • Parents and children are required to follow the traffic flow guidelines to prevent unnecessary contact. Please have one parent check-in and drop off children.
  • Please plan to come earlier to allow time for you and your family to check-in for service and allow time to check-in your child(ren).
  • Please take your child to the washroom prior to checking him or her into Kids Ministries. Parents will be contacted during service to take their child to the washroom if the need arises.
If the cohort is full, your child can be placed on a waiting list. If space becomes available at any time during the 8-weeks, you will be contacted and given the opportunity to register your child(ren) and have them participate in the remainder of the 8 weeks.
Yes. Registration is required for in-person service gathering. More information on how to register and what to expect, is available on Welcome Back.
