If Rita was given the choice between a nice dinner out and the same amount of money for new books, she'd pick the book option every time (or maybe a new plant for her garden). Rita studied at Canadian Bible College and Prairie Bible College. She began her career teaching at Prairie Bible College and has been passionate about learning and communicating transformative truth ever since. After taking a break to raise 4 kids (with her husband, Lorne), Rita joined the staff of Sherwood Park Alliance in 1998. She loves the church and in the last few years her greatest passion has been School of Discipleship. Nothing makes Rita more excited than having the opportunity to help people discover the joy and utter relief of doing life ----all of life, the good, the bad and the ugly ----in authentic loving relationship with God and with each other!
