Psalm 51

Hello Church Family!

I hope you've enjoyed our beautiful week of sunshine. This weekend we are continuing our journey through A Summer in the Psalms. If you haven't yet I encourage you to spend some time reading a Psalm this weekend on your own time. The Psalms have a beautiful way of inviting us into a posture of prayer. One I find particularly invitational is Psalm 139 as I reflect on how deeply God knows my heart! On occasion it leads me to Psalm 51 as I talk with Jesus about what I discover in my heart - join us this weekend to hear more.

We've been so blessed by submissions from our church body of their own inspired works from the Psalms. There is still time to submit a Psalm, song, art piece - you name it, we'd love to see it.

Be blessed friends,

Kiara Moshansky | Youth Pastor

A Summer in the Psalms

We hope you are enjoying our A Summer in the Psalms series so far. It has been so wonderful to partner with Jason Hildebrand and his team at Jason Hildebrand Creative Arts to share with you some of their Psalms Microfilms. These scripture-based microfilms welcome heart engagement and connection with God, encourage us to reflect on how these living ancient texts can speak to us today.

Child Dedication

There is no manual for raising kids, but God has given us something far better - the Holy Spirit, and community. Child Dedication is a way to acknowledge our dependence on the leadership and guidance of the Holy Spirit as we do our best to be an example and lead our children into a relationship with Jesus.

Register at spac.ca/childdedication before August 1st to have your child dedicated during one of our August 14 or 15th services.

Online Ministry Enhancement

The public weekend gathering is no longer the front door - the digital presence and online experience of church is overwhelmingly our first point of connection with the spiritually curious, and an essential method for initiating and fostering discipling relationships within our congregation. Streaming online is more than a broadcast - it's a platform with which to nurture meaningful connections with online viewers.

The hybrid church is the new normal.

To help support this new normal, we are launching an Online Ministry Enhancement campaign. For more information please see spac.ca/online.
