Congratulations Wayne!

Congratulations to Executive Pastor Wayne Regehr on his ordination!

Ordination in the Christian & Missionary Alliance (Canada) is a solemn observance involving District leadership and a local congregation, where candidates are affirmed in their calling and charged to serve faithfully. Each ordinand completes a lengthy process, including theological papers and oral exams, before being conferred the title 'Reverend.'

A brief ceremony was held on Sunday, October 4, to acknowledge this milestone achievement. Way to go Wayne!

Life Group update.jpg

Life Groups are the key to spiritual growth. Through spiritual growth, we can change our lives and learn to live and love like Jesus...it is when we are in relationship that we disciple each other, where we love and care for each other, and serve together.

We are happy to report that as of today, we have 74 groups with almost 500 people connecting with one another and doing life together! This doesn't include all the young people participating in Youth Life Groups!

Life Groups are made up of people who want to go deeper in their relationship with Jesus all while socializing, having a good time and building friendships with others. Some of our newest Life Groups are:

  • Alpha - beginning in these next weeks.
  • Ministry for Women Professionals and Business Leaders
  • Grace Based Recovery for Men
  • Moving Beyond Betrayal for Women
  • Today's Cultural and Political Climate
  • A women's group for singles 35 plus
  • A men's group for those 25-35
  • A mixed group for people with high schoolers

Depending on where you are in life and what you may be experiencing, there is a place for you where you will be known and cared about. Let us help you find your Life Group - it's not too late! If you would like to lead a Life Group, we can help guide you and get started! Learn more about Life Groups.

How much of your thinking is made up of ME thinking? This week Pastor Rita continues the study of The Book of Ecclesiastes 4: 1-16 where a new question is posed to us, along with a whole new way of living to consider...a new way to see the world. The question is: "How are WE doing?" It's in this question that we can potentially free ourselves, from ourselves.

Last week, Pastor Greg spoke about the TIMES of our life are not the only times there are. There's a time to be born and a time to die, and, there is a time to give an account. One of the ways we learn to live is by preparing to die, realizing that death means judgment. What is past may be past, but what is past is not forgotten to God, and because He's in charge and lives forever, one day all will be made well. If you missed it, all the teachings are available on-demand for your convenience.

Hope you can join us. Register for in-person gathering at 11 am or join us online on the usual platforms Saturday at 7 pm, Sunday at 9 am & 11 am.
